The mission with this site is to provide support and encouragement to homeschooling families on the Big Island of Hawaii. I believe that homeschooling can be a wonderful and joyful experience for families, and an excellent way to gain an education in life!
Many of the families that homeschool here in Hawaii are very passionate about learning, and in return, are doing incredible things with their keiki. One of my goals is to create a place to share those ideas, to inspire others around us through sharing resources. I'd also like to acknowledge that although not everyone shares the same philosophies concerning educational methods or curriculum, we do all share the common joy of guiding and learning, alongside our children. I hope that through these common goals, we can build a community of support for one another.
One of the greatest joys of homeschooling is watching our children thrive and grow in a healthy, happy environment! I hope that you will find this website useful, as you are creating a healthy and happy foundation for your homeschooling family!
