Great Potluck Turnout!

We had a great turnout for the potluck on Saturday! Big Mahalos to everyone who came and made it so awesome. It turned out to be a fun-filled day of good friends, good food, good weather, and overall good feelings in our homeschooling community! Thanks for coming together and making it happen.

Jennifer and Maria from Big Island NIA did a dance demonstration at 1 o'clock for all the children who wanted to participate. It was the perfect addition to our afternoon, and the kids loved it! Thanks again Jen and Maria! (If anyone is interested in signing up for NIA classes, you can visit the Big Island NIA website for locations and details.)

The parachute was pretty cool, too!

The Petting Zoo opened up at 1:30, and surprise for us--the zoo volunteers were offering free face painting! Big Mahalos to them, as well, for coloring our keikis!

Our budding Henna tattoo artist, Molly,  made an appearance once again at the potluck, as well. She was kept busy throughout the afternoon applying beautiful artwork to countless arms and legs! Thanks Molly for providing your excellent services!

Overall, it was a great time for everyone! And now I'm kicking myself for not taking more photos of EVERYONE, because we had a lot of families come!

Even the little ones partied hard, til they crashed out!

Hope to see you all in 6 months for our next Homeschool Potluck!

If anyone else took some pictures they'd like to post, email me and I'll get them up!
